2007 TCA Convention - Layout Tours

- Layout Tour #1 is a huge Gargraves/Ross 3 rail O Layout with 10’ diameter curves throughout most of the layout with NO Scenery. A dual track 10’ diameter helix (under construction)  feeds the 2 storage shelves and the ceiling layout. A large separate toy train accessory area is also included.

- Layout Tour #2 is a toy train theme 3 rail O layout professionally done in Pre and Postwar colors. Although it is mostly O it does have a standard gauge area at one end. It also has a 2 track ceiling loop suspended on a plexiglas support system. The owner borrowed Peter Coor’s personal copy of the MTH Silver Bullet (not shown on the upper ceiling loop) since it had not been released yet. The Coors sub zero tap was in the corner by the mountains. The Coors girls were also on loan and made it difficult to get the guests back on the bus.

- Layout Tour #3 was 2 separate layouts in a finished warehouse. The first layout was 2 rail O on the first level with 3 rail O on the second level. Not shown was an S gauge layout on top in the back on the 3rd level. The second layout was Standard gauge and was huge! Virtually every Prewar Standard gauge item known to exist is on this layout or displayed on the walls. WOW!

- Layout Tour #4 is a combination layout - mostly HighRail 3 rail O with a section of toy train tubular. Also the outer loop is dual gauge Gargraves O/Standard Gauge Track. Operating accessories were carefully blended in to give them a realistic look.

- Layout Tour #5 was OGR forum ChooChoo Mike’s  3 rail O Gargraves conventional layout and his G gauge Garden Railway.
